5 Stylish Acts To Check Out at Live on the Green

Live on the Green Music Festival will enter its final weekend of the year on Thursday, and it has an onslaught of artists from all genres taking the stage to close out the festival. Not only will these acts absolutely rock the house, but there’s also no doubt they will bring their fashion A-game to the stage. Here are five acts, each with their own unique style, to look out for over music-filled weekend.

The Wild Feathers

This Nashville band masterfully blends elements of country and rock, and their outfit

choices definitely show it. They sport classic country accessories like cowboy hats, bolo ties, denim and large belt buckles, and they add an indie rock flair to their look with bright, vibrant colors and floral patterns. Along with making fans dance in the crowd, The Wild Feathers will have any Nashville resident thinking of new ways to create their own alt-country styles.

Lissie

A native of Illinois, singer-songwriter Lissie crafts folk-rock songs reminiscent of bands like Fleetwood Mac and The Lumineers. Both her music and style can be described in one word: simple. She can hop on the stage in just a tee shirt with jeans, and she’ll rock both the outfit and her set. There aren’t many artists who can pull off simplicity as well as Lissie, and she is definitely one to watch out for at the festival.

Rayland Baxter

Rayland Baxter is a mixed bag when it comes to his music. The Nashville native can go from singing laid back folk songs to playing hard-hitting southern rock at the drop of the hat. Like his unique musical stylings, he also has a very quirky fashion sense, opting to wear loose-fitting patterned shirts with a pair of jeans or khakis and often topping off the look with a rugged baseball cap. When Baxter takes the stage at Live on the Green, he'll show fans that they can pull off just about any look with the right amount of confidence.

ZZ Ward

In both her music and her fashion sense, the Los Angeles-based blues rocker ZZ Ward is all about edgy. She matches her raw, powerful vocals and bluesy instrumentation with dark colors in both her clothing and makeup, making sure to complete her outfit with her trademark flat-brim hat. Rock fans at the festival will have no trouble taking inspiration from Ward's style to create a brand-new look.

Natalie Prass

Although she's not in the country genre, Natalie Prass' retro pop and R&B sensibilities won't feel at all out of place onstage at Live on the Green thanks to her old-school sense of style. When performing she'll wear anything from floral summer dresses, monochromatic jumpsuits and even plaid blazers paired with pleated skirts. When it comes to old-fashioned outfits, Prass is one step ahead of everybody else, and there's no doubt she'll rock her retro-chic look at the Nashville Festival.
