JUST ANNOUNCED: Eric Church To Open New 6-Story Bar In Downtown Nashville

NASHVILLE, TN - Eric Church is jumping on the bandwagon of the many country stars to own their own establishments in downtown Nashville.

“I remember driving through downtown Nashville over 20 years ago with a pawn shop guitar, riding shotgun in a beat-to-hell truck just trying to chase a dream,” said Church. “Chief’s is the culmination of catching that dream. Like everything else we do in our career, I wouldn’t even attempt a project like this if I didn’t think it would be the best, so that’s what Chief’s will be: the best.”

This morning, The Tennessean announced the news that “The Chief,” formally known as Cotton Eyed Joe, will be opening up sometime in 2023. Church is partnering with entrepreneur Ben Weprin, to open the six-story bar worth $24.5 million.
