Presley Tennant Sheds Light on Love in New Single

California-based singer/songwriter Presley Tennant is getting vulnerable in her new single, “Love You With The Lights On", available everywhere on November 22.

The song succeeds the drop of "Pick Your Poison", Tennant's fiery take on toxic love. Released on October 10 and created by Tennant, Noah West and Garrett Jacobs, it's a fantastic message for those that are stuck in harmful situations.

"Love You With The Lights On" is a complete switch from Tennant's previous work, emphasizing the importance of loving someone in spite of their flaws. "This song to me," Tennant comments, "is about that one person in your life where you love everything about them...The things they may be insecure about are your favorite parts, where you want to see every bit of who they are and shine light on it."

Co-written with David Ray Stevens and Brandon Hartt in June of 2023, "Love You With The Lights On" was born from a stroke of creative genius. Initially, Tennant wasn't feeling it, stating, "I remember it was my 3rd write of the day, so I was feeling exhausted, but as soon as I walked into the room, David and Brandon said 'We've got an idea' and all of a sudden, I was hooked." She continues "...it felt like right after they said that, the song was finished...I knew in the back of my mind that I always wanted a song like this...I had been trying to find any angle to chase it... [and] when it drops in your lap and is executed with such ease, it felt so good."

"Love You With The Lights On" is available wherever you get your music on November 22.
